Margaret Rose (nee Ryan) Johnson of Wynnewood, Pa. passed away at home, Thursday June 21, 2018. Born October 5, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pa.

to Helen Williams and Paul Ryan. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and earned her B.S. in Nursing from Viiianova University. She was a nurse at Lankenau Hospital after graduation.

On July 27, 1968 she married Edward E. Johnson. They were married in the basement of Presentation School since the church was being built at that time. Maggie looked forward to Christmas planning every year.

She loved being with her grandchildren, the shore (Margate, NJ), cooking and crossword puzzles. She also worked for Marcellus Soret, a childrens clothing store. .

She is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Major Edward E. Johnson, USMC Ret. , her children: Paul Edward Johnson (Gwynne), Helen Cora Miller (G. Wilson), James Johnson Strauss (Jessica) and her 6 grandchildren: Quinton, Phoebe, Richard, Aidan, Ian and Cora.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Tuesday, June 26 in Presentation BVM Church, Haverford Rd, Wynnewood, Pa. where family and friends may call after 9:00 AM. Interment is in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, Pa.
