Marguerite’s Obituary Marguerite (Garneau) Bednarz, age 92, of Dartmouth, formerly of Westport, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Autumn Glen at Dartmouth. She was the wife of the late Jan W. Bednarz. Marguerite was born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late, Arthur and Adela (Pelletier) Garneau.

She worked in the Fall River City Hall as a clerk in the assessor’s office. She loved traveling with her husband and enjoyed painting. Marguerite is survived by a sister, Anne Marie Lemay and many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews.

She also was the sister to the late, Yvette Garneau-Alves, Theresa Beliveau and Alphonse Garneau. Marguerite’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 9:00AM from the BOULE FUNERAL HOME, 615 Broadway, Fall River, MA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, 569 Sanford Rd. Westport, MA.

Entombment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
