OBITUARY Mrs. Maria De Jesus Gallegos June 26, 1936 – July 26, 2018 Maria De Jesus Garcia de Gallegos, age 82, passed away on July 26, 2018 in Dallas, TX. She was born on June 26, 1936 in San Antonio de las Barrancas Municipio de Villa de Guadalupe Matehuala, San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Martin Garcia Prieto y Socorro Lara Martinez. Maria De Jesus was raised in San Antonio de las Barrancas.
She married Juan Martin Gallegos Guerra and the couple had ten children. In her spare time Maria enjoyed Cooking, dancing, catering to her family and loved listening to music. Her family and friends will always remember her as a wonderful, loving, caring, happy, generous and most of all strong and courageous woman!
She is preceded in death by: her spouse Juan Martin Gallegos Guerra, parents, Martin Garcia y Socorro Lara, Children, Betito Gallegos, Elidia Gallegos y Juanaito Gallegos, granddaughter, Christina Adriana Orozco, siblings Adrian Garcia y Juana Maria Garcia. Maria is survived by her children; Joel Gallegos, Guadencia Orozco, Cosme Gallegos, Oliverio Gallegos, Rosa Maria Gallegos, Erasmo Gallegos y Mary Gallegos. Grandchildren; Tabitha Garcia, Noel Gallegos, Benito Orozco Jr., Paola Gallegos, Irma Gallegos, Erika Castro, Edgar Gallegos, Ayaana Garcia, Cosme Gallegos Jr., Monica Salas-Castro, Jessica Gallegos, Jonathan Gallegos, Cristian Gallegos, Karina Gallegos, Cristobal Orozco, Juan Marcos Gallegos, Jennifer Gallegos, Xavier Emmanuel Rodriguez, Liyah Adriana Moreno, Maximus Alexander Rodriguez.
Followed by 15 third generation great-grandchildren. “Her Legacy will be remembered and live forever”. Visitation will be Sunday July 29, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a Rosary at 4:15 p.m. at Gonzalez Funeral Home Chapel, 3050 N. Stemmons Fwy.
Dallas, TX 75247, Funeral Mass will be Monday July 30, 2018 10 a.m. at St, Edwards Catholic Church 4001 Elm St. Dallas, TX 75226 with Burial to follow in Restland Cemetery , 13005 Greenville Ave.
