OBITUARY Maria De La Luz Aceves November 20, 1932 – November 16, 2018 Mission, TX – Maria De La Luz Aceves passed away on November 16, 2018, at the age of 85 in McAllen, TX. She was born on November 20, 1932 in Estacion Ochoa, Tamps. , Mexico to Virgino Lopez and Norberta Gracia.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Reyes Aceves; children, Rosa Maria (Willie) Forester, Mary (Arturo) Quintero, Ricardo Aceves, Rosalinda Aceves, Rosabel Aceves, Connie Aceves; siblings, Angelica Alaffa, Marcos Lopez, Caridad Solis; grandchildren, George Gutierrez II, Celina Gutierrez, Stephen Aceves; and numerous nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Luz was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with the rosary at 7:00 pm, in the Chapel of Remembrance at Funeraria Del Angel. The Funeral Mass will be on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 10:00 am San Martin De Porres Catholic Church, 621 W Main Ave, Alton, TX 78573. Burial to follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission, TX.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel, 3611 N Taylor Rd. Mission, TX 78573. The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff of Retama Manor of McAllen, Rio Grande Regional Hospital, Richard’s Pharmacy and Dr. Eduardo Aquino for their care and attention for Luz.
