Maria’s Obituary Maria E. Rosa Torres, 67, of Meriden, died Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Hartford Hospital. She was born in San Sebastian Puerto Rico, October 16, 1951, a daughter of the late Juan Rosa and Genara Gonzalez. She will be missed by her children, Elizabeth Torres, Israel Torres and Noel Torres; her grandchildren, Lisa Ward, Maria Ward, Brenda Ward, Jordan Williams, Alexander Torres, Jailene Rodriguez, Tyler Torres, Alexsandra Torres and Giovani Torres; her great grandchildren, Jamari Harrell, Zion Harrell, Taji Hicks, Gabriel Rivera and Aurora Torres; her siblings, Lourdes Cardona, Carmen Vasquez, Ivette Rosa, Noemi Rosa, Heriberto Rosa, Luis Rosa and Adalberto Rosa; and many nieces and nephews that she loved very much.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Ramon Rosa, Juan A. Rosa and Luz Cardona; and her brother-in-law, Manuel Cardona. Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext. , Monday, May 20, from 4 to 8 pm.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, at 10 am. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden. www.
