She was born on May 29, 1943 in Houston, Texas, daughter of Epifanio and Cecilia (Reyes) Medina. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Alberto, Alejandro, Jesus, Guadalupe, Robert, Francisco and Gabriel, sisters, Rosaura, Adelia, Amelia, Hortencia and Irene, grandaughter, Tiffany Marie Salinas and great-grandson, Eric James Silva.

She is survived by her husband, Hilario Rodriguez, Sr.; sons, Edward (Sylvia Tamez) Rodriguez, Hilario (Virginia) Rodriguez, Jr., Raymond (Ana Gloria) Miranda; daughters Norma Miranda (Erasmo) Mares, Azalea Rodriguez (Anselmo) Jimenez, San Juana Rodriguez (Antonio, Jr.) Salinas; 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 until time of rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Duddlesten Funeral Home, Raymondville, TX. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 693 N. 3rd, Raymondville, Texas on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Raymondville Memorial Cemetery.
