Obituary for Maria Josefina Mendez Maria Josephina Mendez, born March 15, 1950 to Jose Mendez and Maria Torres Coronado in San Antonio, Texas passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the age of 68 years. Mrs. Mendez was preceded in death by her brother, David Mendez. She is survived by her spouse, Joe V. Reyes; daughters, Yvette Cortez, Janie C. DeLuna, and Danielle Reyes Hickman; sons, Bobby Joe Cortez (Rita), Roger Rodriguez, and Jason Luna Reyes; Mother, Maria T. Coronado; brother Joe Mendez; sisters, Gloria Mendez, Elsie Ramirez, Corine Mendez, and Yolanda Gonzalez; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; also numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Mrs. Mendez loved to decorate her home and sing. She also enjoyed playing volleyball, gardening and fishing. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home. A Rosary Service will be held on Tuesday Evening at the Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 1214 Stonewall. Everyone is to meet at Church.

Burial will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Camero Funeral Home. You are invited to sign the on-line register book at www.
