Maria (Norine) Howard, age 63, of 222 Allison Square Drive, Anderson, South Carolina, an angel of the Lord was called home on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at her home. She was born in Anderson County on May 23, 1955 to her parents, the late John Howard, Sr. and the late Cindy McDowell Howard. Maria attended Westside High School and was a member of Wilson Calvary Baptist Church.

She worked at Singer Plant in Anderson, South Carolina for several years; then, she worked at Squeaky Clean Laundromat, from where she retired. She attended the front desk and greeted everyone at the door with a bright smile and warm heart. She leaves to cherish many loving memories, one daughter, Angelic “Angel” Hunter of Anderson, South Carolina; two sons, JoMo (Angie) Mattison of Belton South Carolina and Rogers (Tiffany) Hunter, Jr. of Anderson, South Carolina; three sisters, Johnnie Howard of Anderson, South Carolina, Jennifer Howard and Linda “Kitty” (Joe) Copeland, both of Belton, South Carolina; three brothers, George Howard and Archie Howard, both of Belton, South Carolina and John Howard of Anderson, South Carolina; seven grandchildren.
