OBITUARY Maria T. De Rodriguez October 11, 1933 – September 15, 2018 Maria T. De Rodriguez, known as Tere, 84, peacefully entered into her eternal reward with her Lord at 6:40pm on Saturday September 15, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Tere was born to the late Victorio Moya and Gumercinda Zuniga in Tamaulipas, Mexico on October 11, 1933. Tere was the eldest of all of her siblings; all of whom she cared for and helped raise.
Tere met the love of her life, Andres Rodriguez, and was married on April 15, 1959. She loved her husband deeply and was the definition of a good thing that the Bible speaks about a man finding. Together they built a wonderful life; bringing three beautiful daughters into the world, while walking through all of the vows of marriage, giving great example to the blessing that comes from the Lord when a covenant is honored.
Through her daughters her family grew in numbers and love. She became Suegra to 3 special son in laws, Grandma to 8 wonderful grand children and Gigi to 10 great grand children whom she adored. Tere’s favorite times were with her family gathered together laughing, eating, and playing loteria.
Her life was proof of God’s faithfulness and the power of prayer. She would speak of the Lord’s goodness every chance she got. Tere was a true servant of the Lord and we are confidant that she was welcomed home in celebration by her Maker.
She was whole, well, and healthy to the day she passed. Tere is survived by her husband, Andres Rodriguez; her daughters, Zorayda Palacios, Lupita Cardenas, and Leida Ramos; her son-in-laws, Cesar Palacios, Martin Cardenas and Daniel Ramos Jr.; Her grand children, JC and Tabitha Palacios, Jackie and Alex Rodriguez, Priscilla Palacios, Marty and Abby Cardenas, Adrian and Yesenia Palacios, Meagan and Jonathan Banda, Daniel Ramos III, and Alexis Ramos; her great grand children, Aubrey, Madi, Nathaniel, Mia, Ethan, Ezra, Lucia, Elijah, Adrian, and Liam; her siblings, Sylvia Herrera, Leticia Palacios, Francisca Munoz, Imelda Soto, Jacqueline Zuniga, and Moises Moya. She is preceded into her eternal home by her parents, Victorio Moya and Gumercinda Zuniga; and her siblings, Celia Moya, Oralia Moya, Agapito Moya, Jose Angel Moya, Gaudencio Moya and Victoria Moya.
