OBITUARY Maria Teresa Ayarzagoitia de Valle February 6, 1934 – December 25, 2018 Maria Teresa Ayarzagoitia de Valle is the epitome of courage, discipline and great strength. Her petite frame was no boundary for the splendor of her spirit. She grew her love of knowledge through her love of reading.
She was limitless and never considered failure an option. Within the strength of her character was her determination through hard work and sacrifice. Although she was known for her individualism, being independent and self-reliant, she entrusted her life to God each day.
Being a true soldier, she lead with the utmost respect and fearlessness, and as most successful visionaries, she was at the forefront and lead her family with the resounding words ”Vamos! ” She was always a fighter, and she never gave up. She stood for justice, truth and innovative ideals and principles before her time.
Her optimism, fortitude and energy were unmatched. December 25th was a befitting day to celebrate the end of the work of a bona fide soldier of God, the special appointed time for her to meet her Lord and Savior. She is the true gift of light and life that we had the joy of having as sons and daughters growing into her true friends.
Her love for her family goes without saying. Her home was orderly and meticulous, adorned with meaningful mementos, encompassed with family, delicious food that she so graciously prepared and a bright and vivid garden that her hands so skillfully cultivated. Her roots were in the Villa de Santiago, Mexico and although she raised her family primarily in the United States, her upbringing, principles and values superseded her point of location.
Who you are is who you are no matter where you are, and she did not waiver or compromise those at any time. She imparted us all with her true spirit, and she hoped to inspire future generations through her dedication and loyalty.
