Obituary of Marianna Alberico Marianna Alberico (nee Alberico) Age 88, formerly of Channahon, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 20, 2018, at her home in Diamond, IL. Born January 4, 1930, in Carmanico, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Antoniella (nee Alberico) Alberico. Marianna enjoyed gardening, cooking, and was a self taught seamstress.

She had a rewarding career, helping people look their best on their most important days, working for Hart Schaffer Marx, Whitley Bridal House and Al Baskin Co. Marianna is survived by her daughters, Mary (Richard) Hart of Diamond, IL and Ann (Patrick) Fox of Channahon; two grandsons, Joseph (Liz) Piccioli and John (Liz) Fox; two granddaughters, Gina (Gene) Ketelaar and Jennie (David) Cleaves; three step grandchildren, Jerry (Marilou) Hart, Jennifer Hart and Joyce (Charles) Metoyer; ten great grandchildren, Gianna, Dominic, Mia, Brody, Morgan, Madison, Devin, Beckett, Brooklyn and Dylan; brother, Joseph (Teresa) Alberico; brothers-in-law, Tony Brandolino, Ralph (Marianne) and Paul (Bernadine) Alberico; and sisters-in-law, Connie (Tony) D’Addario, Phyllis (Vic) Carusi and Antonette (Frank) Mendoza. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was preceded by her loving husband of 59 years, Berardino Alberico (2012); her parents; one son-in-law, Gino Piccioli; and sister, Angie Brandolino.

Funeral Services for Marianna Alberico will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds. , Joliet, to St. Ann Catholic Church, 24500 S. Navajo Dr., Channahon, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Monday from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
