Marie’s Obituary Marie A. Hoagland passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne at the age of 83. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Hoagland has been a resident of Levittown since 1960. She graduated from Bristol High School.

Mrs. Hoagland was a member of Emilie United Methodist Church and a life time member of Levittown Fire Company #1 Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and Saint Joseph Seniors. Until her retirement in 1996, Mrs. Hoagland was employed with the Pennsbury School District at Penn Valley Elementary School as a Cafeteria Worker for 25 years.

Beloved wife of the late Richard N. Sr., Mrs. Hoagland is the loving mother of Richard N. Hoagland Jr. (Beth) and Lisa M. Pullen (Edward); grandmother of Pamella Rando (Tom), Christopher Hoagland (Alexys Moody), Matthew (Leigh-Ann), Sean (Allie) and Timothy Pullen; and great grandmother of Dominic, Mia, Leigha, Chase, Jackson, and Avery. Mrs. Hoagland is the sister of John Nickels. She will also be sadly missed by her in-laws, William Gerst, Dolores Dremock, Mary Nickels; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, March 14, 2019, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and on Friday, March 15, 2019, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park, Bensalem. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Hoagland’s name may be made to Emilie United Methodist Church, 7300 New Falls Road, Levittown, PA 19055.
