Loretta’s Obituary Loretta A. Bannon passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Saint Joseph Manor in Meadowbrook at the age of 98. Born and raised in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, she was a 1938 graduate of Mastbaum High School and was also the Class President that year. Mrs. Bannon was a former member of Saint Anne Church, Philadelphia, and raised her 3 children across the street from the Parish School.

She motivated all her children to achieve both college degrees and graduate degrees. She was employed for many years as a Bank Teller. Beloved wife of the late James K., Mrs. Bannon is the loving mother of James (late Joyce), Albert (Catherine) and Dennis; longtime companion of Joseph Luczejko; grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 2.

Born 1 of 12 children, she was predeceased by all of her siblings. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 9:30 until 10:30 at Saint Anne Church, 2328 E. Lehigh Avenue, Philadelphia, where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am. The Rite of Committal will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.
