Marie B. Hill OTTAWA – Marie B. Hill, 98, of Ottawa died at 9:55 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at The Meadows of Kalida. She born June 15, 1920 in New Cleveland to the late August and Rosa (Heuerman) Laubenthal. On November 30, 1946 she married Donald Hill who died March 1, 1989.

Also preceding her in death were her sister and brothers, Alice (Dwight) Zimmerly, Alphonse (Agnes) Laubenthal, and Frank (Sophie) Laubenthal; and a nephew, Dennis Laubenthal. She is survived by a niece, Nancy (David) Orlowski; a niece-in-law, Nadine Laubenthal; three great nephews; a great niece; some great-great nieces and nephews and cousins; and two special cousins, Mary Lou Krietemeyer and Janice Tenwalde. Marie and her husband Don spent many winters in Arizona.

She loved to play bingo at The Meadows of Kalida. Marie was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa and was a Minister of Praise.

She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr.

Rick Friebel officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Salem Cemetery, Westminster. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.

Memorials may be made to Council on Aging or to Putnam County Hospice. Condolences can be expressed at: www. lovefuneralhome.com.
