Obituary for Marie Bennett Marie (Garton) Bennett, age 88 of Millville, passed away Sunday morning, July 8, 2018 at the Millville Center. Born and raised in Millville to the late Orville and Cora (Hoffman) Garton, she was a life long resident. Marie was a homemaker, and she was a member of the Church of God and the First Assembly of God, both in Millville.

She enjoyed playing her organ, piano and accordion. She was a great cook, and she also enjoyed crocheting. Marie is survived by her stepson Raymond Bennett Jr. of Bridgeton.

She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Bennett Sr. in 2014; her son Douglas Rios; and her siblings, Evelyn, George and Robert. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. There will be a viewing on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
