Marie L. Doroba, 82, of Cary, was born October 13, 1935 in Chicago to James and Onorina (nee Bertot) Cavallo. She passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 in Barrington. Marie graduated from DePaul University in 1957.

She was a college advisor at Northeastern University in Chicago. She was an avid reader and enjoyed travelling, especially on cruises. She also enjoyed painting, knitting and sewing.

She is survived by her husband of almost 57 years, Kenneth Doroba, whom she married on May 27, 1961; her children, Paul (Carolyn) Doroba, Richard (Christine) Doroba, and Christine (Herb) Tittle; her grandchildren, Ronald, Anne, Krysta, Rebecca, Kaleigh, and Lea; and her brother, William (Priscilla) Cavallo. She is preceded in death by her parents. A visitation will be held from 4-8pm, Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave.

, Crystal Lake. Visitation will continue from 9am until time of prayer service at 10am, Friday, April 27, 2018 at the funeral home proceeding to Windridge Memorial Park in Cary.
