Marie Louise (Yates) Neumann, 81, of Bristol CT passed away on December 10, 2018 at her home. She was born August 17, 1937 in Brunswick, ME to the late Lucas and Marie (Tremblay) Yates. Marie was a graduate of Manchester (CT) High, UConn and received her MBA from Central Connecticut University.

Prior to having children, Marie was a first grade school teacher in Wolcott, CT and when her children grew, worked until retirement at Aetna in Hartford. She loved quilting, making dolls and stuffed animals. She often gave quilted pillows and throws as gifts to family members and her grandchildren all had handmade teddy bears.

Marie was predeceased by her husband Erwin. Marie leaves behind her daughter Betty Martin of Canton, CT and her two sons, Robert of Arlington, VA and John of Brownsville, VT. She also leaves behind her twin sister, Marie Suzanne, of N. Chelmsford, MA and five grandchildren, Alexandra and Colin Martin, Lucas Vannie and Sophie and Austin Neumann.

The funeral will take place on Friday, December 14th at 11AM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Terryville, CT.
