Mrs. Marie Meadows, age 79 of Fayette, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10-A.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Survivors include her husband: Wayne Meadows of Bankston, three sons: Wilburn Chambless, Ricky Chambless (Wanda), Gary Meadows of Bankston, all of Bankston, two daughters: Kathy Chambless of Reno, NV, and Sandy Pennington (James) of Fayette, grandchildren: Farrah Glasgow of GA, Brett Chambless (Kim) of Tuscaloosa, Casey Chambless (Cathy), Kristy Upton (Jamie), Tina Meadows (Scott) all of Bankston, Ashton Hubbert (Chris) of Fayette, Harley Meadows and Hunter Meadows both of Tuscaloosa, great-grandchildren: Tucker Glasgow of GA, Alexis and Brady Chambless of Tuscaloosa, Tanner Upton and Dillion Barns both of Bankston, and Kamryn Hubbert of Fayette, one brother: Wayne Rogers of Winfield, one sister: Jewel Martin of Wetumpka, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: William “Bill” and Clara Rogers, son: Donald Joe Chambless, brothers: Roy, Jimmy, Milferd, and Billy “Jr”.

Rogers, and sisters: Oleta, Peggy, and Marlyn. Pallbearers will be: Jamie Roberts, Casey Chambless, James Pennington, Ronald Otts, Bill Crumpton, and Dillion Barns.
