OBITUARY Marie R Simms January 20, 1928 – September 2, 2018 Marie R. Simms of Severna Park, MD, passed at the age of 90 from a brief illness on September 2, 2018. Preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Simms, she is survived by her children, Sandra (Nick) Galich, Glennis (Robert) Deal, and Matthew (Dee) Simms, her grandchildren, Amanda and Ryan Galich, Christian Kilinski, and Taylor Simms, her great-grandchildren, Ariana and Chase Galich. Marie was a homemaker and an artist.

She loved all mediums in art and was especially fond of oil painting. Her creativity was an inspiration to all that met her. The Family invites friends to a Memorial Gathering at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home 16000 Annapolis Rd Bowie, MD on Saturday, September 8 from 2-5 PM, where services will begin at 5 PM.

Marie will be inurned with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
