Obituary for Mrs. Marilyn A. Pugh Marilyn A. Pugh, 91 years, on October 14, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Cecil W. Pugh, and loving mother of Leslie Pugh Schultz. Also survived by dear brother, Marc A. Cortez (his wife Nancy), and their daughters, Danielle Miller and Michelle Cirelli (husband Anthony) , nephews, Paul Ramirez and David Ramirez (wife Nicole).

She is also survived by great-nieces, Jessica, Allie and Emily and great-nephew, Lucio. A Philadelphian born and bred, Marilyn had an adventurous spirit which took her to South America in her early 20’s. There she met her future husband, returning four years later to pursue a career in travel.

She visited 26 countries and various destination spots, including the Great Wall of China, Tokyo, the Fiji Islands and the Antarctic. She loved…languages, opera, art and her books. A self-professed foodie, she enjoyed making meals for her neighbors well into her nineties.

Her 2 dogs and 2 cats were the joy of her life. A natural mentor, she strove to instill a sense of excellence in others, giving wind to their sails, applauding their accomplishments, and encouraging them to reach even greater heights. A Funeral Mass and viewing was held at St. Francis Xavier Church the Oratory, 24th & Green Sts.
