OBITUARY Marilyn Anna Folkers December 3, 1932 – December 2, 2018 Marilyn Folkers (nee Buck), 85, of River Vale, NJ, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived most of her life in River Vale, NJ. Beloved wife of the late Gerhard Folkers.

Loving mother of Eric Folkers and spouse Joanne, Richard Folkers and spouse Wendy, Chris Folkers and spouse Debbie, Kurt Folkers and Gail Greco. Adoring grandmother of Nicholas Folkers and spouse Briana, Robert Folkers, Lauren Folkers, Keri Folkers, Steven Folkers and spouse Olivia, Kristen Sweder and spouse Paul, Derek Cunningham, Danielle Evelina and Kyle Folkers. Cherished great grandmother of Gracie Folkers, Dustan Folkers, Rocco Evelina, Aiden Sweder, Wyatt Sweder, Paige Sweder and Connor Sweder.

Marilyn is also survived by cousins, friends from her German confirmation group and neighbors. She was loved by all who have met her, and her selfless caring for others will never be forgotten. The family will receive friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Tuesday, December 4 from 2-4 and 7-9PM.

The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 5 at 10AM with interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Marilyn’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
