Marilyn’s Obituary Marilyn Jean (Holland) Roop 1954-2019 Marilyn Jean (Holland) Roop was born January 11, 1954 in Bakersfield, CA to Lloyd and Janet (Medlock) Holland. She went to be with the Lord on January 3, 2019 at her home in Checotah, OK at the age of 64. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Janet Holland; sisters, Lois Holland and Sandra Kay Cowan; and brother, Jimmy Holland.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Stratton and husband Darin of Cookson, OK; son, Lon Roop of Heavener, OK; father of her children, John Odom Roop of Heavener, OK; grandchildren, Lauren and Hunter Stratton of Cookson, OK; sister, Linda Wiles and husband Rusty of Checotah, OK; close nephew, Willie Wiles and wife Krista of Checotah, OK and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins. Marilyn loved nature, gardening and flowers, and enjoyed the outdoors. Her two grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Marilyn was always positive and lived life to its fullest. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
