It is with great sadness that Marilyn Goldsmith died early Friday morning, February 1st in Lourdes Hospital. Marilyn was long time member of Temple Concord and Temple Concord Sisterhood. She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Ethel, and her husband, Irwin of blessed memory.

Marilyn is survived by her sons Denis (Marian) and Mark Goldsmith, grandchildren Adam, Jared (Tanya), and Jenna and great grandson Hunter. The world was blessed to have Marilyn for 88 years. She was the CEO of the family, always providing the needed love and support.

She found meaning and purpose in loving her family, taking care of them and supporting them. She served as Secretary of Temple Concord’s Sisterhood. Nobody could write a letter like she could.

She was also never at a loss for words. Her spirit will be in our hearts forever. Our family would like to thank Lourdes’s 3400 Ross Unit and Susquehanna Nursing & Rehabilitation Center’s 2nd floor staff for their excellent care.

All services will be held privately. Donations in Marilyn’s memory may be made to Temple Concord, 9 Riverside Dr, Binghamton, NY 13905 or the charity of your choice.
