Marilyn “Pat” Steinberg Marilyn “Pat” Steinberg, age 79, of Kimberly, passed away on December 27, 2018. She was born to the late George & Gertrude Schiffner in Lisbon, ND on March 21, 1939. She graduated from Verona High School Verona, ND 1956 and Mercy School of Nursing Valley City, ND 1959.

Pat married Neal Steinberg on March 25, 1961 in Englevale, ND. They were married for 56 years before his passing. Her hobbies included: crafting, working with flowers, earlier years enjoyed dancing, camping, traveling and playing cards with friends.

She dedicated her career as a nurse at Kaukauna Hospital and Kaukauna Clinic until her retirement. Pat is survived and will be sadly missed by 3 daughters: Deana (Bob) Schemm of Kaukauna, Michelle (Craig) Heesacker of Suamico and Paula (Rob Lang) Gerrits of Kaukauna. Grandchildren: Chris (Staci) Schemm of De Pere, Sarah Schemm of Kaukauna, Scott (Clare) Diedrich of Kaukauna, Tyler (Caitlin) Diedrich of Kaukauna, Kurt (Abbey) Diedrich of Germantown, Jeremy (Kayla) Huss of Okinawa, Japan, Andrew Huss of Kaukauna, Elizabeth Huss of Kaukauna, Jenna Heesacker of Green Bay and Emmy Heesacker of Green Bay.

Great grandchildren: Annabelle, Audrey, Analine, Nora, Nolan, Carson, Avery, Wesdan, Carter and Madison (due in a couple days). She is further survived by her brother, Ronald (Beverly) Schiffner, brother and sisters-in-law: Joan Schiffner, Susan Schiffner, June Steinberg and Roger (Sharon) Steinberg; along with many nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two brothers: John Schiffner and Jim Schiffner; two nephews: David Schiffner and Peter Schiffner; her in-laws, Alfred and Ione Steinberg, Herman Bauer; brother-in-law, Leslie Steinberg; and sister-in-law Gloria Steinberg.

Mom’s wishes were not to have any funeral. A private family service is planned.
