Marion T. (Wren) (McOsker) Chesemore Loving wife, mother, grandmother and cousin Marion T. (Wren) (McOsker) Chesemore, 83, of Pelham, died peacefully in her sleep after several years with Alzheimer’s on Tuesday, July 24th at Lowell General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of David L. Chesemore who survives her and with whom she celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary on November 23, 2017. Born in Chicago, Illinois, December 16, 1934, the daughter of the late Daniel and the late Ann (Curnane) Wren, she attended Chicago schools and was a graduate of Trinity High School also in Chicago.
Eager to pursue a career in teaching, she then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin. Before retiring, Marion was a school teacher for 44 years. For the first 17 years of teaching Marion was a nun, Sister Danita with the Dominican Order in Sinsinawa, Wisconsin.
While with the Dominicans she taught in 4 states. After leaving the Dominicans she continued to teach, and taught in 3 more states. She taught grade school children throughout her career.
She enjoyed teaching reading the most, wheather in the classroom setting or as a reading specialist. Among her many interests, she loved photography, spending time with her grandchildren, and traveling Marion was predeceased by her first husband, Charles G. McOsker. In addition to her husband David, Marion is survived by two daughters Sandra S. Chesemore and her husband Christopher Walling of Bellevue, WA and Kathleen A. McOsker of Pelham, NH; three sons Donald W. Chesemore and his wife Rebecca, of Costa Mesa, CA, John K. Chesemore and his wife Sarah.

She also had twelve grandchildren; Alika, Kainoa, Noelani, Maile, Anne, Nicholas, Jason, Katelyn, Ben, Jacob, Erin, and Sarah. She is also survived by her sister-in Law, Rosemary McOsker, of Lowell, MA, her brother-in-law Jim Chesemore and his wife Mary of Maple Grove, MN and sister-in-law Donna Chesemore of Arena, WI; cousins Jack Wren, of Chicago, IL and Ita McElvaney of Chicago IL, and many nieces and nephews.
You may be gone, but your memory lives on in the smoke of our campfires. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Her Memorial Service will be held on December 29, 2018 at 11 o’clock at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 Nashua Rd.
