Marita’s Obituary Sibley, IA Marita Buckalew age 65, of Sibley, IA died Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Sibley Specialty Care. Visitation only, will take place Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with family present, at the Jurrens Funeral Home of Sibley, IA. Marita Elsa Gertrude Buckalew was born February 12, 1953 in Frankfurt, Germany, to Willie and Thea Klotzbauch.

She grew up and attended school in Germany. She attended college in Canton, Illinois. In the past, Marita worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Sibley Specialty Care.

Marita was an avid reader, and enjoyed all of her pets. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. She always tried to keep in contact with all of them, as they live in different states.

She is survived by her mother, Thea Klotzbauch of Frankfurt, Germany; her significant other, Doyle Hutchison of Sibley, IA; her children Andreas Potsch, Sonja Hanks, Danny Hanks, Frederick Buckalew, and Natascha Green; 18 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and sister Ella Griffin of Columbus, GA. She is preceded in death by her father, Willie Klotzbauch. Blessed be her memory.
