Marjorie A. Lacher (nee Erpenbeck) age 98 of Cincinnati, passed away Saturday May 4, 2019. She was the devoted wife of the late Raymond C. Lacher. Loving mother of Tim (Peggy) Lacher and the late Vicki Lacher Miller.

Dear grandmother of Becky (Jon) Colvin and Drew Lacher and great grandmother of Zachary, Nicholas, Jacob, KayLah and Olivia. Dear sister of the late Edna Mae Erpenbeck who died at a very young age. Marjorie was a long term member of the Delhi Historical Society, a Rosie Red and a proud graduate of the University of Cincinnati.

She worked for Burke Marketing Research after graduating from UC, then went to work at the IRS after her children were grown. Her family will remember her deep love of chocolate and her passion for crossword puzzles, UC football games and Red’s games. She was always an eager and very active participant with playing with her grandkids and their sports activities.

She walked everywhere, as she never drove. She loved being outdoors and helping out in her community. Margie had a love for music and knew all the lyrics to numerous old classics up until the end, especially “Take Me Out To The Ballgame”, which made her smile even when she became despondent.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. (in the gathering space) until 10 a.m. Mass at St. Dominic Church on Monday, May 13, 2019. Burial will follow at St. Joseph New Cemetery.
