Obituary for Marjorie L. Woodward MARJORIE L. WOODWARD, age 85 of Port Hope, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Courtney Manor Nursing of Bad Axe. She was born on July 8, 1933 in Lansing, to the late John & Edith (Meade) Lang. Marjorie and Allen Woodward were united in marriage on June 14, 1952 in Lansing.

He preceded her in death on April 28, 2011. Marjorie was the Port Hope Village Clerk for many years, was a member of the Port Hope United Methodist Church, and enjoyed travelling and gardening. She is survived by her children: Dennis Woodward of Port Hope, John (Joan) Woodward of Harbor Beach, Brian Woodward of Detroit, grandchildren: John, Rita, Cassidy, Robin, 8 great grandchildren, and brothers: Al Lang of Montana and Jim Lang of Lansing.

Marjorie was preceded in death by a sister Betty Fisher. Funeral Services for Marjorie will be on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 5pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Burial service will take place Saturday, at 1pm at Croton Township Cemetery, near Newaygo, Michigan.
