Funeral service for Marjorie Mae (Scarvey) Delinski, age 84, of Decatur, will be Thursday, October 4, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church with Shelton Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. with Rosary from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Delinski, who died Monday, October 1, 2018, at Big Springs Manor, was born October 5, 1933, in Birmingham, to John William Scarvey and Flora McAbee Scarvey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Frank Delinski, Sr., her parents, three brothers, and one sister. She is survived by one son, Bernard Frank “Bernie” Delinski, Jr. (Wendy) of Sheffield; four daughters, Deborah Crawford (Joe) of Athens, Rhonda Tapley (Jimmy) of Hartselle, Karen Riggins of Decatur, and Brenda Hall (John) of Hartselle; 11 grandchildren, Jody Crawford, Gina Crawford, Heather Thompson, Jamie Norris, Rebecca Riggins, Tyler Riggins, Chase Hall, Ben Hall, Olivia Hall, Katie Delinski, and Kelsey Delinski; five great-grandchildren, Dahlia Allen, Asher Morgan, Christian Crabb, Aiden Crabb, and Jaxon Norris; and several nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be Jody Crawford, Chase Hall, Ben Hall, Shawn Norris, Johnny Scarvey, and Asher Morgan.
