Funeral service for Troy Huley Moore, age 89, of Decatur, will be Monday, November 26, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Sellers officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service.

Interment will be in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Eva. Mr. Moore, who died Friday, November 23, 2018, at his residence, was born September 21, 1929, in Morgan County to Thomas Ezra Moore and Flora Bell Burnett Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Evelyn Craft and Ruby Porter.

Mr. Moore retired from Wolverine Tube following 32 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Joanne Pinkerton Moore of Decatur; one son, Steven T. Moore of Decatur; one daughter, Sherri M. Marshall (Dennis) of Falkville; two sisters, Margaret Hall and Sue Johnson, both of Decatur; brother-in-law, Junior Porter of Hartselle; four grandchildren, Wes Moore (DeAnna), Jake Moore (Charlee), Amanda Davis (Adron), and Drew Marshall (C.J.); eight great-grandchildren, Levi Davis, Blakeleigh Moore, Grant Davis, Drake Moore, Carsten Moore, Grayson Moore, Jack Moore, and Jace Marshall; and a host of nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces. Pallbearers will be grandsons, nephews, great-grandchildren, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Valley or Austinville United Methodist Church.
