Mrs. Marjorie Meadows Nealey, age 93, went to be with her Lord on Friday, March 15th, 2019. She lived her life loving God, loving and serving her family and others. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Shawmut.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford E. Nealey; her parents, Grady and Betty Johnston Meadows; her brother, Gaines S. Meadows; sister, Elaine M. Barksdale. Mrs. Nealey is survived by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-great nieces, great-great nephews and numerous friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 19th, 2019 at 1:00P.M. EDT at the First Baptist Church of Shawmut with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery.

The Reverend Chuck Anderson officiating. Her family will be receiving friends at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley Monday evening from 5:00P.M. EDT until 7:00P.M. EDT. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in her memory to the First Baptist Church of Shawmut.
