Mrs. Bernice Thomas Coker, age 80, of Valley passed away on Wednesday, May 22nd, 2019 at the EAMC Lanier Nursing Home. Mrs. Coker was born in Langdale, Alabama on December 9th, 1938 to the late Fronie O. Thomas and Ledie Stewart Thomas. She was also preceded in death by her husband Louis Coker.

She was a member of Midway Baptist Church. Mrs. Coker was a very devoted wife and mother who loved her family. She was a wonderful lady with a great sense of humor.

She is survived by her children, Tannia Coker, Tommy Coker, and Tracy Coker; brother, Johnny Thomas; grandchild, Kayla Champion; great-grandchild, Jaz Griffin. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 25th, 2019 at 10:00A.M. EDT at the Fairview Cemetery. The Reverend Randall Hamer officiating.

Her family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00P.M. EDT until 8:00P.M. EDT. Flowers will be kindly accepted or the family suggests that memorials be made in her name to Chattahoochee Hospice. Please visit her Memorial Tribute page at www.
