Michael Henson, age 71, of Lanett, AL passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 5th, 2019. Mike is survived by his wife, Tawana; his daughter, Melanie; his sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and J.C.; his two grandchildren, Conner and Carly; his one niece, Jaime. Mike was born in Dyersburg, TN.

Mike was retired from Jimmie Hale Royal Pines Mission, where he served as counselor for many years. Mike’s passion was helping people overcome their addictions. In the process, he led so many to Jesus Christ.

Mike will be dearly missed. The family will receive friends and celebrate Mike’s life Wednesday, May 8th, 2019 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Lanett. Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home of Lanett directing.
