Mark Alan Galati, a graduate of Mason High School class of 1986, and the University of Missouri – St. Louis (“UMSL”), in Computer Science, passed on to his forever home on Friday, March 8, 2019 at the age of 51. Mark was born December 15, 1967 in St. Louis, MO, and also lived in Garden City, MI, Excelsior, MN, Bowie, MD, Mason, Ohio moved back to St. Louis, MO, and finally resided in West Chester, OH. Mark is survived by his parents Marilyn L. Galati, and James (Nancy) Galati of West Chester, OH, brothers James R. adn Thomas A. Galati of St. Louis, MO, , Micahel (Paula) Galati of Bellville, IL, Paula J. (Kim) Galati of Cincinnati, OH, and sister Donna M. Giddings-McCann (Bruce) of Loveland, OH.

Mark leaves behind nieces Stephanie, Kathryn, Alicia, Melissa, and Meghan and nephews Christopher, Matthew, John, Alex, and Anthony. His passion was music, and he loved playing bass guitar with his brother’s band the Rockinghorse Opera. Mark was also an avid chess player.

Visitation will be at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home – Mason (400 Reading Rd. , Mason, OH 45040) on Friday, March 15th, 2019 from 3:30 PM until time of service beginning at 5:30 PM. Memorial donations may be made to The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati.
