Obituary for Mark Beers Mark L. Beers, age 75, of West Haven, beloved husband to Carole A. (Hornack) Beers, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Saint Raphael Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on October 25, 1943, he was the son of the late Ladner “Lee” D. and Kathryn (Morris) Beers. Mark enjoyed his career as an engineer and business owner of Carry Cases Plus.

In addition to his wife Carole, he is survived by his children, David (Jeanette) Beers, Allison (C.J.) Beers-Jacheo, grandchildren, Mark T. Beers, Steven Beers, David A. Beers, Corona Beers, Wylan Jacheo, Lelan Jacheo, brothers, Donald (Pat) Beers, Owen (Charlene) Beers, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mark was predeceased by his son Mark S. Beers. Mark was well known and well loved by many.

He was an avid sportsman, fisherman, artist, and loved to travel. He was devoted to his family and their well being. He was fair, honest and loyal.

In his 75 years of life he did and accomplished more than most men could in several lifetimes. He touched and effected countless people with his wit, charm and charisma. His grass was always greener than yours because of his meticulous lawn care obsession.

He enjoyed a good laugh, good friends, good stories (telling them mostly), and being with those he loved, especially his wife, children and grandchildren. He lived his life to the fullest. He is missed and loved beyond measure.

All services will be held privately. West Haven Funeral Home at the Green has been entrusted with funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Mark’s honor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital P.O. Box 1000 Dept.
