Obituary for Mark J Mares Mark J. Mares, 63, of Schuyler died Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Schuyler Care and Rehab Center. Memorials: Benedictine Mission House or Masses Mark Mares was born on on May 12, 1955 to Joseph R. Jr and Delores (Bohuslavsky) Mares in Columbus. He resided at the family farm near Schuyler for most of his life.

Mark loved fishing and hunting, telling jokes ( some a little “off color”), driving his car and going to off-track betting. Mark experienced many challenges in his life, but he is now at peace. His mother, Delores and two sisters, Paula Mares of Schuyler and Patricia Mares of Austin, Tx survive him, as do numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
