75, of Narragansett and Palm City, FL, passed away peacefully with her husband at her side on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at South County Hospital, Wakefield. She was the beloved wife of forty-nine years to Robert H. Lendrim. Born in Lackawanna, NY, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Josephine (Sako) Fuhrman.

Marlene was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island. She was a Registered Nurse at South County Hospital for many years before her retirement. She was also a flight attendant for the former Mohawk Airlines.

Marlene was a lover of all dogs especially Labrador Retrievers. She trained and competed the dogs in all areas of competition, attaining numerous awards and citations in all categories. Her funeral services and burial will be private.

VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted. Kindly omit flowers. A memorial gathering will be held at a future date.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at South County Hospital for the treatment and care shown to Marlene.
