Marlene Faye Baker, Resident of Harrison, passed away on February 4, 2019 at the age of 82. She was born on December 12, 1936 in Napoleon, Kentucky to James J. and Ona Mae (nee Webster) Wallace. She married Lloyd G. Baker and they were blessed with 4 children: Bonnie, Lloyd D, Niesje, & Sherri.

She worked as a cook in Harrison for many years at different restaurants. Marlene also was home for her children when they were younger. She played piano and enjoyed cooking for her family.

Survivors include her children: Lloyd D. (Danelle) Baker, Niesje C. (Chip) Seibert, and Sherri D. Baker; Grandchildren: Keli N. Baker, Joshua B. (Christy) Baker, Breanna L. (Matt) Engel, Brittany R. (Mike) Bowman, and Nathan Chapman; Great Grandchildren: Morgan, Abby, Karsen, Judah and Cole Baker, Matthew, Elijah, Caleb Engel. She was preceded in death by her parents: James J. and Ona Mae Wallace; her loving husband Lloyd G. Baker; daughter: Bonnie Chapman; and her siblings: Charles, Melvin, Dallas, Ronnie, James and Gary Wallace and Emma Hollingsworth and Ruth Stumpf. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 5 pm until the time of the funeral service at 7 PM at Brater Winter Funeral Home, Harrison, Ohio.

Graveside services will be at Napoleon Cemetery on Highway 16 in Napoleon, KY on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 11 AM. In Lieu of flowers memorials to Alzheimer’s Association or American Cancer Society through the funeral home.
