MYERS – Martha H., 85, Mount Hope, went home to be with the Lord May 27, 2019, at Autumn View Personal Care, surrounded by loving family. Born October 4, 1933, in Rosebud, Clearfield County; daughter of Allen and Martha V. (Taylor) Pounds. Preceded in death by parents; beloved husband, Harry R. Myers, who died October 14, 2014; infant sister, Shelva Jean; sister, Kathleen “Kay” Prudhoe; and brother, Paul Pounds.

Survived by children, Debbie, wife of Doug Riexinger, Holtwood; Larry, married to Lora (Hershberger), Mount Hope; Donald (Lisa Cherry), Mount Hope; and Karen, wife of Stephen Wasko, Dalmatia; grandchildren, Jason, April, Amber and Alexis; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy, wife of Robert Bowden, Mount Hope; and numerous nieces and nephews. Martha was a member of Mount Hope United Methodist Church. She adored her grandchildren and loved sharing time with family and friends.

Her kind and gentle spirit will live on in the memories of those who loved her. Friends will be received at the church from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Hope United Methodist Church, Mount Hope, the Rev. Joseph Stains presiding.
