Mrs. Martha Jeffers Branim Griffith, age 94, of the Robbins Community, departed this life on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at her home. Born November 27, 1924, in the Smokey Junction Community, she was the daughter of the late Millard Jeffers and Rosie Burress Jeffers. She was a member of the Mountain View Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Reason Willard (Pete) Branim; her second husband, Russell… Read More » Griffith; children, James Marshall Branim and Thomas Willard Branim; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Pendergrass Branim; brothers, Roy Jeffers, Arvil Jeffers, Alfred Jeffers and Archie Jeffers; sisters Mariah Reynolds, Birdie Massengale and Mertie Anderson Adkins. She is survived by her children, Donald Branim of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Mike Branim and wife Bonnie of Pineville, Louisiana, Debbie Blair and husband Scott of Allardt, TN, Beverly Whaley and husband Thomas of Beaufort, North Carolina, Felica Walker and husband David of Helenwood, TN, Alfred Branim and wife Darlene of Wartburg, TN, Gary Branim and wife Mary of Robbins, TN; 23 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Martha Branim and Robin Branim Clark of Shreveport, Louisiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, December 16, 2018, at the Mountain View Missionary Baptist Church, from 5:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 8:00 p.m., with Bro.

David Walker and Bro. Phillip Kidd officiating. Music will be provided by the Branim Family.

Graveside service will be on Monday, December 17, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery in Robbins, TN. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons. Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville is in charge of final arrangements for Mrs. Martha Jeffers Branim Griffith.
