Obituary of Martha Buhl Martha Buhl, 90, Raritan, died peacefully on April 21, 2018. She was born on August 22, 1927 in Orange, NJ, to her dear parents Carmela (DeJohn) and RoccoDiSarno. Martha was a teacher’s aide at the Midland School in Branchburg.

She was a member of the Raritan Senior Citizen’s Group and a communicant of St Bernard of Clairvoux Church, Bridgewater. Martha had a keen sense of humor, had a sharp wit and loved cooking, playing bingo and working out at Powerhouse Gym. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will truly be missed by all that knew her.

Martha is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Herbert J. Buhl, her loving daughters, Kathleen (Daniel) Carbone and Barbara Wendell, 2 cherished grandchildren, Andrew Carbone and Michael (fiancé Jacki Johnson) Carbone, 3 dear siblings, Robert (Patty) DiSarno, Margie (Vince) Perna, and Joan Bartus, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, and 6 siblings, Louise, Tony, Richie, Joe, Carmine and Raymond. Viewing: Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00pm and Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 8:00 to 8:45 am at Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869, (908) 725-1887.

Funeral Mass: Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 9:30am at Immaculate Conception RC Church, 35 Mountain Avenue, Somerville, NJ. Burial to follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge.
