Martha Janearle Bland Turner, 97, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019 at her home. Janearle was born December 23, 1921 in Orange, Texas to Jasper Monroe Bland and Alta Smith Bland. She was a lifelong resident of this area and a retired Woodcrest Elementary first grade Teacher with 39 years of service.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Port Neches. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Janearle was preceded in death by her daughter, JoyVon Turner, and her sister, Joyce Raiford.

Surviving relatives include her sister, Pollie Bland of Port Neches, Texas; brother, James Bland and wife Gail of Dallas, Texas; 4 nephews, Dal Raiford and wife Terri, Don Raiford and wife Judy, Dan Raiford and wife Bettie, and Dee Raiford and wife Dorothea.
