Marvin “Buddy” Willis Jr., 77, of Morehead City, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Carteret Health Care in Morehead City. Buddy was a truck driver and enjoyed boating and being on the water during his retirement years. He was a loving husband, father and Pop Pop.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Bridgeway Church in Beaufort with Rev. Wayne Best officiating. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Gloria Willis of Morehead City; son, Marvin Willis and wife Erica of Newport; daughter, Kathryn Smith and husband Eric of Havelock; daughter Kimberly Borie and husband Mark of Cape Carteret; son, Bradley Willis of Hubert; grandchildren, Braxton Foster; Delilah Smith; Emma Willis; and Caitlyn Smith.
