Marvin “M.C.” Hawkins Jr., age 74, of Inverness, FL passed away on October 23, 2018. A native of Lakeland, Florida, he was the son of the late Marvin Curtis Sr. and Irvin Hawkins Wilder. Survivors include his wife of 51 years Peggy Hawkins, children, Sharon (Ron) Gilberg, Richard (Crystal) Hawkins, Siblings, Wilder Hawkins, Dana Hawkins, and 3 grandchildren.

M.C. worked as a police officer with Plant City Police Department, also was a Firefighter with the Plant City Fire Department, spent time working for Mosaic as an Engineer and worked for Florida Fish and Game Commission. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Haught Funeral Home, 708 W Dr MLK Jr Blvd, Plant City, FL 33563.
