Marvin James Meyer Born to life on February 28, 1946, the son of the late Donald and the late Janette (nee Leiskau) Meyer, he was born to eternal life on July 28, 2018 at age 72 years at Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Marv was the loving husband of Michele (nee Hanson) Meyer and he and his late first wife Barbara (nee Littel) were the proud parents of Laura (Scott) Miller, Michael Meyer, Carole (Justin) Williams and Jennifer Meyer. He was also the cherished grandfather of Monica, Anthony, Mollie, Jessica, Alyssa, Maya and Ryan and the fond brother of Ron Meyer, the late Melvin Meyer (Marv’s twin), Karen (Greg) Breitbach and Richard Meyer.

Marv is further survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and many friends. Marv was a true and trusted friend to all who were fortunate enough to know him. He retired as a supervisor after 45 years of work at ADM Cocoa (formerly Ambrosia Chocolate) and he served his country in his younger years as a member of the US Army.

Visitation will be held for Marv on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, from 9:00am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon, all at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 8200 West Denver Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53223. Interment with military honors will follow the Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The family requests donations to St. Bernadette Catholic Church in memory of Marv.
