Obituary for Marvin L. Simmons “Bud” Marvin “Bud” Simmons, 85, of Kenmore, Monday (October 8, 2018) in Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Mr. Simmons was born in Minot, North Dakota, on January 23, 1933 to Basil and Ethel (Buchholz) Simmons. Mr. Simmons was a United States Army Veteran, a member of the Grand Island Rod and Gun Club, and owner of Bud’s Typewriter Repair in Kenmore.

Bud is survived by his wife Candice R. (Whitney) Simmons, father of Linda Ann (Dan Vitale) Chase, brother of Geraldine (the late Bruce) Benner, grandfather of Zachary (Jenn), and Kyle Chase, great grandfather of Del Chase, also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday from 4-8 P.M. at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda, NY, where prayers will follow. Interment White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery.
