Marvin L. Ray, age 80 of Hixson, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, February 14th 2019 in CHI Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Dorothy Ray; and sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Gordon Flowers He is survived by his wife, Gail Ray; sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony and Debbie Ray and Timothy and Judy Ray; daughters and son-in-law, Tammy and Joe Parks and Tasha Cooper; step-children, David and Angie Hornbuckle, and Renee and Curry Smith; brother, Jerry Ray; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Mike Garrett; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Marvin L. Ray will be 2:00 pm Saturday, February 16th 2019 from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Chatsworth with Rev.

Ronnie Smith officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, February 15th 2019.

Jones Funeral Home of Chatsworth is in charge of funeral arrangements.
