A visitation will be held in his honor on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park (4511 West Park Ave. , Gray) from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

He is survived by his son, Troy Hoob; daughter, Connie Hoob Tanner (Dale); sister, Diane Harleston; grandchildren, Wendy Henry, T.J. Henry, Jennifer Angarita, Staci Davenport, Beau Tanner, Sean Tanner, Taylor Hoob, and Hunta Hoob; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Pertuit Hoob; parents, Noah Hoob Sr. and Clara Dubois Hoob; daughters, Wanda Hoob Henry and Melinda Hoob Theriot; brothers, Buddy Hoob, Noah “Pete” Hoob Jr., David Hoob, and Marion Hoob; sisters, Ala Bragg, Reba Lusco, and Pat Samples.
