Mary A. Rushlow January 17, 1949 – March 02, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Mary Angie Rushlow, age 70, of Mio, MI, formerly of Rose City, MI passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019, following her extremely brave and strong battle with cancer, at her daughter’s home in Mio. Mary was born in Trenton, Michigan on January 17, 1949. She graduated from Carlson High School in Rockwood, MI in 1968.

She moved to Rose City in 1987 from Monroe, MI and married James Rushlow in June of 1990. Mary settled nearer her children in Mio 2 years ago. She was a lifetime member of the VFW in Newport, MI and enjoyed crafting, baking and playing KENO at The Mio Saloon.

She is survived by her children: Tina (Jeffrey) Buckner of Monroe, MI, Russell (Heather) Campbell, Jr. of Mio and Ruthann (Henry) Blair of Mio; sisters: Charlotte Kaltz, Sylvia (Russell) Emmons and Pam Kern; brother Larry (Rose) Olinger; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and many dear friends. Mary was preceded in death by her mother Nellie and stepfather Charles, her husband James, sister Barbara Bisson and brother Bill Olinger. In accordance with Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at The Mio Saloon, Mio, MI 48647, at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 9, 2019. Memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Lashley Funeral Home, Mio.
