Mary Anne Lippincott August 14, 1964 – December 22, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card On Saturday, December 22, 2018, Mary Anne passed away at the age of 54 while surrounded by her loving family. Originally from Northeast “Dilly-elphia” she was a resident of Melmark, in Newtown Square PA. Mary Anne was loved by so many, from the day of her birth to her final moment.

She took pride in her job at the dish-room & in the Meadows and was loved by her supervisors and fellow employees. She was the life of every party, a self-proclaimed Party-Animal & Dancing Machine, especially to Michael Jackson music and she could also swim like a fish. Mary Anne’s favorite weekends would be spent watching college and Eagles football while doing her paperwork and having a beer.

Mary Anne also loved to travel. She went on many vacations with her best friend Marcia & also traveled while she was a member of The Joybells, Melmark’s hand bell choir. Mary Anne was infamous for her love of wrestling, Wawa coffee and the Mets.

She was in her glory when surrounded by her family and was so proud of her title of Aunt Mary Anne. The entire family expresses their deep gratitude to the staff of Melmark, especially Summit house staff for their love and care for Mary Anne. Crossroads Hospice also played a major role in her comfort in her final year.

She was preceded in death by her big Daddy Francis Lippincott Sr. and mother Margaret Lippincott (nee McMullen). She is survived by her siblings and their spouses: Eileen (nee Lippincott) & Joseph Hauser; Dennis (The Barber-tender) & Lora (nee Jones); Frank (Big Daddy Jr,) & Pam/Violet (nee Terren) and Marge (nee Lippincott) & Thomas Gillen. Nieces and nephews: Kim, Tom, Frank, Joe, Jan, Jackie, Bill, Missy, Jim, Crystal, Ben, Christopher, Lindsay, Michael, Megan, Nick, Bip & Big Joe Donia.

Great nieces and nephews: Anastasia, Michael, Erin, Alexis, Hayley, Makayla, Brianna, Emily, J.J., BOlivia, Abigail, Maggie, Alaina, Elizabeth, Laurel, Molly, Maci, Julia, Joey, Christopher, Mason, Max & Avery. Also by her house sisters, Vivi and Foxy; her incredible caretakers and best friends; Pat, Carmen, Shaquetta, Munkonjay, Mulinda and Liz. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday Eve 7-9 PM and Friday 8:30-9:30 AM at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave.

Phila. , PA 19114 followed by her Funeral Mass 10:00 AM at St. Katherine of Siena Church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
